WillU ("willu", "we", "us", or "our") operates willu.app, a service that lets you create and share interactive digital postcards and link-in-bio pages. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and services.
Account information: When you sign up or log in, we may collect your email address and basic profile information from your authentication provider (such as Google or GitHub), including your name and profile picture. Profile content: Information you add to your WillU page, including username, display name, bio, profile photo, links, theme preferences, and any custom domain settings. Usage data: We collect analytics about how you use WillU, such as page views, link clicks, device type, and general location (country/region). IP addresses are anonymized or hashed where possible. Wallet information: If you enable token-gated access or connect a wallet, we may read your public wallet address and token balance on BNB Chain to verify access. We do not store private keys.
We use your information to: • Provide, operate, and improve WillU • Create and display your public profile page • Authenticate your account and keep it secure • Send transactional emails (such as login links and account notifications) • Measure usage and improve our product • Enforce optional token-gated access when enabled by profile owners • Comply with legal obligations
Your published WillU page is public by default and can be viewed by anyone with your link. We use trusted service providers to operate WillU, including hosting (Vercel), authentication (NextAuth), analytics (PostHog), email delivery, and image storage. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, language preferences, and analytics. Analytics help us understand how WillU is used so we can improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal or security purposes.
